INFANTRY NCO CONVERTED M36 WALKING OUT TUNIC:
Interesting, issue
M43 field tunic that has been finely tailor reworked
for use as a walking out dress by a Heer infantry
NCO. Produced from field grey uniform wool, the tunic
has a six button front . It was upgraded with the
addition of a pointed dark green wool collar, a
shortening of the lower skirt, pleats added to the
pockets and scallops to the flaps. Further enhancements
included the machine application of bright aluminum
tresse & M36 Infantry collar tabs. Slip-on M36
Feldwebel straps (with white wool piping & aluminum
pip) and a hand applied M36 BeVo breast eagle
complete the upgrade. The lower left cuff retains a
nicely hand applied drivers badge in silver along with
two sets of badge loops on the left upper pocket. Its
interior has a 3/4 lining of smooth, grey rayon cloth
being complete with wound bandage pocket and all four
belt support tabs. It has a partial RBN number
and full issue markings. The tunic remains in very clean
and solid condition as typical for garments used for
walking out dress. Condition I- $1850.00
