#12915-HEER INFANTRY RESERVE OFFICERS WAFFENROCK DRESS TUNIC & TROUSERS SET: Nice, private purchase example of an Officers quality Waffenrock with original piped trousers. The tunic is produced of a fine, field grey wool trikot having dark green wool faced cuffs and collar. The tunic has eight pebbled aluminum buttons down the front (solid back). It is piped throughout and has insignias faced in the white Waffenfarbe of the Infantry. The hand embroidered aluminum tabs are of the Officer pattern and machine applied to both the collar and cuffs. The matching sew-in Leutnant shoulder boards have a secondary grey piping (reserve) & gilt numerals 55 (one appears to be replaced) for the 55th Infantry regiment. Its Officers quality breast eagle is of hand embroidered aluminum bullion being finely hand applied. The tunic retains a lanyard button under the right shoulder board. The interior has a full grey-green rayon lining with pinstriped silk inside its sleeves. It is complete with woven tailors label, cloth waist belt and "glove" pockets inside the rear skirt. The straight leg trousers are of stone grey wool with white wool piping. They have side slash pockets and a watch pocket to the front along with a button close rear pocket. The partial waist lining is produced from patterned silk cloth and complete with all brace buttons and rear button straps. The tunic shows minor use and age having a few areas of surface wear and some scattered minor snags. The trousers are equal with minor wear & age Condition II+ $1295.00 set
