#11273-HEER INFANTRY NCO M40 SHOULDER STRAPS: A great example pair of elongated M40 pattern shoulder straps as worn by an Infantry Unterofficier. Of the slip-on style, these are produced of early period, field grey wool cloth with white rayon cord piping & subdued rayon tresse. These straps measure 5-1/4 inches in length and are of the type worn on large tunics, wrapper jackets and greatcoats. The reverse has sectional field grey wool construction along with grey cotton twill lined tongues. Appearing unissued, they remain clean with no wear and only minor age toning.
