These private purchase straps are cut in the smaller style closer in size to a Leutnant board and of the type favored by Officer candidates. In the slip-on style they are of dark green wool having bright aluminum tresse, three small pips and white rayon piping. The top base exhibits a small hole indicating a rank upgrade.
