The German manufactured straps are of the wide 1943 pattern that was inspired by Imperial Russian styles. The slip-on straps are in the rank of Freiwilliger being produced ,of dark green wool badgecloth with pink rayon piping. Such straps were piped to denote Nationality rather than arm of service.
