#10574-HEER CAVALRY ENLISTED M36 SHOULDER BOARDS: Fine, private purchase shoulder boards as typically worn on the Waffenrock & dress uniforms by enlisted personnel. The sew-in boards have a semi-stiff interior and are produced of dark green wool badgecloth. They have gold rayon piping and finely hand embroidered numeral 15 ‘s in matching gold cello thread. The underside of the boards are produced of medium green wool with the exposed work of the embroidered numbers. This type of board being a generic style that was customized after production. The hand embroidery work is top quality and the exposed reverse allows for closer study of the procedure. One of the more interesting pairs of boards I have sold in some time.
