Nice, single example of the shoulder board as worn by a
Major serving in the 7th Artillery
regiment ( 7th Infantry Division). It is in
the slip-on, “compact” size as usually worn on shirts.
It is of subdued braid with a gilt numeral over a base
of red wool badgecloth. The reverse is complete with a
thin tongue of matching red wool. Shows light use &
