#13468-HEER ARTILLERY OFFICERS SHOULDER BOARDS: Nice example set of wartime period, slip-on shoulder boards as worn by a Heer Artillery Oberleutnant. They consist of subdued aluminum braid having a single gilt pip over an underlay of bright red wool badgecloth. There is slight evidence of a numeral cypher which was no doubt removed to comply with wartime regulations. The reverse is complete with thin tongues of matching wool.
