#11960-ORDER OF THE GERMAN EAGLE MERIT MEDAL:
Fine, later war example of this lower grade decoration
in the second style as introduced in 1943 with Latin
lettering on the reverse. It is die struck in zinc alloy
with an unmarked brass ring and retaining little of its
original bronze finish. The medal shows a dark grey,
oxidized patina as is typical for these medals. It has
the correctly folded ribbon complete with brass pin back
device on the reverse. Shows light age, Condition II+
