#7519-GERMAN MINE SERVICE MEDAL: Scarce example of this civil medal as awarded to German miners for 15 years service, injuries in mining accidents or for service in mine rescues. The thick medal is die struck in bronze having a bright silver finish (appears to be Rhodium) and complete with folded yellow, white & black rayon ribbon. The unmarked medal shows areas of patina as is typically observed with silver over bronze finishes along with overall surface wear. The ribbon shows minor age and some small creases.
