#12335-RURAL POLICE NCO SERVICE TUNIC:
Nice example of the M36 style service tunic as worn by a
senior NCO of the
Gendarmerie.
This pre-1942 tunic is produced from lighter weight,
police green wool trikot having four pockets, a
light brown wool collar, cuffs and orange piping
throughout. Insignia consists of machine applied NCO
collar tabs, sew-in Meister shoulder boards and a
machine applied sleeve eagle for the northern Bavarian
town of Wurzburg. The left breast has loops for a
ribbon bar and two sets of badge loops on the pocket.
The interior has a full lining of grey cotton twill with
pinstriped rayon cloth inside the sleeves. This lining
is complete with an interior breast pocket, edged
weapons slot and two rear skirt pockets. The tunic
remains in solid condition with some minor surface wear
and a bit of very light soiling. Condition II+ $895.00
