#6081-FIRE POLICE OFFICERS VISOR CAP:
Fine, pre-war period example of the visor cap worn by a
Feuerwehr Officer or Revier Officer. The
private purchase cap is in a low-saddle shape of
Prussian blue wool having a black velvet band and
carmine pink wool piping. The front has a second
pattern, enlisted style Police eagle in bright aluminum
and a matching national Kokarde above an Officers
aluminum chincord. The interior is lined with brown
cotton cloth being complete with full maker marked
diamond and brown oilcloth sweatband. The exterior of
the cap remains clean with the interior showing light
wear with some flaking to the sweatband. Condition II+
