#11250-CIVIL POLICE M34 PATTERN HELMET: Well used example of the lightweight civic helmet as used by various fire fighting formations. Produced of an aluminum alloy, the helmet retains about 95% of its original black, satin finish with two very well done plugs at the top where an earlier comb was removed as per regulation. It is complete with bordered police and national shield decals that are retained at about 95%. The interior is complete with leather M31 type liner, dome pad and wide black leather chinstrap. The interior shell retains an embossed makers mark and date of 1934. The helmet shows a fair amount of use having surface rubs along with wear, soiling and some small splits to the liner.
