#10597-D.A.F. FIRST PATTERN OVERSEAS CAP: Rarely encountered example of the first pattern, model 1935 overseas cap worn by members of the Deutsche Arbeits Front. In the political Lagermutze style, it is produced of dark blue uniform wool having simulated piping around its crown. The front has the standard flatwire DAF eagle, a hand applied period upgrade in place of the prescribed metal DAF cogwheel. The lower flap is complete with both lightly pebbled RZM buttons. The interior is lined with grey cotton twill and is complete with a large (early) machine sewn oilcloth RZM tag. The cap shows minor wear with some soiling to the interior lining and light damage to the RZM tag. Condition II+  $295.00
