#10162-D.A.F UNISSUED GROUP STANDARD: A most interesting example of the 1937 pattern D.A.F. unit standard, complete with RZM tag and never having had the unit patch nor pole rings attached. The finely made flag is of red cotton flagcloth measuring 45 by 52 inches with am additional 2- inch aluminum fringe on three sides. The two-sided flag has the distinctive DAF cogwheel in multi-piece, seamed construction of high quality workmanship. The flag still retains an “P” series paper RZM tag and shows no evidence of the application of a unit lozenge nor of the attachment rings on the hoist.
