#12324-BULGARIAN LUFTSCHUTZ HELMET: Scarce example of an M38 pattern Luftschutz helmet produced by Germany for use by the Bulgarian air defense services. The beaded "Gladiator" helmet retains 85% of its original smooth Olive green paint with about 70% of the large, multi-colored Bulgarian decal intact. The interior retains about 90% matching paint with skirt marking. Its three section brown leather liner is complete with a worn black leather chinstrap. Shows a fair amount of use & age, with a small dent to the dome, surface wear, areas of oxidation. The interior has a separation to the liner along with age to the chinstrap. An interesting helmet in condition III+ $225.00
