#10796-NAVAL "DONALD DUCK" CAP: Interesting example out of an old German wardrobe, this Naval pattern "Donald Duck" cap is produced of dark blue wool with simulated piping of the same color on the crown and top of the band. The front top retains a deep impression of an oval badge as typical for either an Imperial Russian or Bulgarian Kokarde. The interior has a lining of brown cotton with a sweatband of black grosgrain ribbon (replaced?) It has a stamped property marking that is hard to read but appears to be German along with the hand written initials "H A". Shows wear and age with a few bends & cracks to the stiffened interior capband. Condition III+ $115.00
