#8351-VOLUNTEER
FIRE POLICE NCO SERVICE TUNIC:
Fine, clean example of this lesser seen Fire service
tunic as worn by localized volunteer fire fighting
units. It is produced of very dark blue (almost black)
uniform wool. Cut in the Dienstrock pattern it
has an eight-button front, roll cuffs, upper pleated &
lower slash pockets and belt support buttons at the
rear. Its solid back buttons are in a shiny, mirror like
nickel silver finish. It has plain, carmine pink velvet
tabs with black piping machine sewn to its collar and
sewn in Unterwachtmeister boards. These boards
have light pink accents (as opposed to black) and like
the tabs, indicative of the volunteer services. The
standard machine embroidered sleeve eagle bears the town
name of Harkenbleck (Niedersachsen)
and is neatly hand applied. The interior is fully lined
with black polished cotton with patterned white silk
inside the sleeves and a single inside breast pocket.
The tunic shows very little wear and only minor signs of
age, Condition I- $495.00 |
