ISSUE SOUP MIX: Commercial
box with fine period graphics depicting a bowl of
soup. It is “Mixed” soup and contains 3 packets.
The reverse is marked for Wehrmacht distribution and
dated Feb. 1945. A
Fallschrimjaeger veteran told me of being
issued these same soups during the war. He remarked
that they didn’t taste good unless you added a
hambone. An impossible to find ration item showing age
