#4729-WEHRMACHT  HAND TORCH: Private purchase, quality hand torch (flashlight) as used by various civil organizations and sometimes even the Wehrmacht. It measures 4 by 2-1/2 inches and is of steel with a heavy black enamel coating. It operates with a side button and has the name Hassia embossed in the lower front. The rear is complete with hanger loop for wear on the uniform. The interior lacks the battery and tiny light bulb. Shows surface wear with a ½ inch scrape on the front cover.
